Lynda has combined a successful law practice with a history of entrepreneurship. With a legal practice specializing in business development and mineral title services, Lynda has a wide range of clients including the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and the County of Allegheny. She started her law career working for the Department of Aviation at Pittsburgh International Airport as a contract administrator. In the 1980’s she formed a partnership with Daniel B. Dixon, who mentored her in coal and gas title issues. In 2007, Lynda began assisting landowners with issues relating to leases and pipelines. Lynda’s family founded Seven Springs Resort and served on the Board of Directors until the company was sold in 2006. Lynda co-founded Applied Concepts, Inc., which developed, manufactured and sold the ROBOGRIP™ pliers, the most successful selling hand tool in Sears’s history. Applied Concepts was sold to Emerson Electric Company in 1996. The success of the ROBOGRIP led other inventors to her practice and in 2009, Lynda founded and now manages Kress Technology, Inc, an electric motor research company with three issued United States patents. Lynda’s offices in Ligonier also provides secretarial and accounting support to Kress Technology, several partnerships, trusts and one foundation. |
